Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (2 Positions) UMass Amherst
Two Full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors with a program of nursing research aligned with NIH priorities such as Clinical and Health Services Research, Integrative Biological and Behavioral Sciences, and Community Health and Population Sciences, advancing minority health and health disparities research. Reporting directly to the Dean, the tenure system Professors will teach the nurses of the future and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programming in the College of Nursing. They will work with the College of Nursing faculty and other departments on campus to promote opportunities for inter-professional education. The successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, contribute significantly to the advancement of nursing discovery, establish a vibrant, independent research program, and play an active role in community and academic service activities in the Colleges of Nursing as well as in the wider University.
Clinical Instructor / Assistant / Associate / Full Professor - 9-months UMass Amherst
The College of Nursing is looking for four (4) full-time, 9-month, faculty member, rank commensurate with education and experience, with a graduate degree in nursing to teach primarily in our undergraduate programs. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean, this clinical faculty member will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programming in the College of Nursing.  They will work with the College of Nursing faculty and other departments on campus to promote opportunities for inter-professional education. We have a current need for experience in Adult Health, Acute Care Nursing, Nursing Process, and other specialty areas. This position requires a dynamic response to a constantly changing work environment.  Advising and teaching responsibilities frequently compete for priority requiring flexibility and adaptability.  This position requires the abilities of a very qualified educator with broad nursing faculty experience in clinical areas and levels of complexity including substantial expertise in teaching.
