The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position as Director of Engineering Management to begin Spring 2019. The position calls for an experienced instructor with expertise in developing and teaching basic management-related engineering management courses. Further responsibilities include industry outreach and coordination of the industry projects-focused capstone experiential activities, student recruitment, developing new international partnerships, and serving as an advisor to current students. Finally, we are also looking for a person who can add to diversity and inclusiveness through active engagement with the underrepresented minorities, women, and international students in the department.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- PhD degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or other appropriate fields
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- Experience in managing both on-campus and online engineering management programs.
- Previous industry experience and connections to facilitate outreach activities and the development of capstone experiences
- Proven record of enhancing diversity and inclusiveness
