Responsible for all reconciliation functions for the UCard Program, analytical system support including the design, preparation, review, and approval of all UCard account reconciliations and supports the accounting function within the Bursar’s Office. The Financial Analyst uses their professional judgment in their role as liaison with the Controller’s Office and other campus offices. Performs a wide range of detailed and complex accounting advisory functions to ensure compliance with Federal and State audit regulations. Must be able to handle multiple duties in an extremely fast paced environment.
Technical Specialist I (HVAC) UMass Amherst
The Technician Specialist I installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical systems and system components, including but not limited to cooling towers, strainers, pumps, air handlers, exhaust systems, fume hoods, etc. Responsibilities include maintaining mechanical system, applying appropriate skills and methods as necessary in the areas of HVAC maintenance and repair, pump maintenance and repair, and air compressors and their related equipment. May assist other employees in the performance of their work.

The Work Management Specialist (Clerk IV) coordinates, processes, and monitors scheduling and work management systems for facilities and campus services. They are responsible for the maintenance and coordination of the TMA database that is utilized for all Facilities work orders. Through the TMA database the specialist produces and creates reports and lists for current work orders and preventative maintenance requests. They are the point of contact for their assigned Zone teams and meet daily with their teams to assign and distribute work tasks. They are the primary contact for building occupants and responsible for building maintenance communications; administers procedures and training for new users; ensures proper utilization of the TMA system.
