Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration in the Isenberg School of Management, the Accreditation Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the school’s accreditation processes and respond to University and Trustee requests under the Educational Effectiveness Plan (EEP) and the Academic Quality and Development (AQAD) process. The position will design and manage assurance of learning (AoL) implementation and programmatic assessments; liaise with accreditation personnel and executive decision-makers in the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) international headquarters; represent Isenberg at national and international AACSB meetings; maintain accurate classifications of faculty qualifications; draft and prepare formal accreditation reporting; and coordinate periodic maintenance of accreditation visits. A major component of this strategically significant role is to ensure alignment and compliance with accreditors’ standards and interpretations.
- Manage all mission-critical processes associated with the school’s AACSB (Business and Accounting) and Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA) (Hospitality and Tourism Management) accreditations. Maintain confidential databases of program reviews; collect, analyze, and report assessment data; monitor curriculum mapping, mission alignment, and gap analyses; collect and manage all data associated with faculty qualifications; prepare and distribute other assessment- and accreditation-related materials. Promote transparency throughout the accreditation processes, and encourage best practices to foster continuous improvement. Ensure timely execution of all accreditation related activities by maintaining assessment/accreditation calendar including report writing and evaluation timelines. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of periodic site visits, including direct interface with external deans and/or other members of the external review teams.
- Manage all school-wide Assurance of Learning (AoL) program activities by reviewing and improving all aspects of the AoL processes. Work directly with faculty to coordinate data collection for programmatic assessment each fall, spring, and summer, ensuring measurement based on updated assessment schedules and rubrics. Analyze, report, and monitor continuous improvement of student success outcomes associated with the school’s publicly articulated learning objectives. Manage the school’s “closing the loop” activities by working with faculty and staff to implement and assess necessary AoL-driven and faculty-approved pedagogical, curricular, and system changes.
- Serve as the school’s public point of contact for all accreditation related activities. Represent Isenberg in university-level processes (e.g., EEP) and liaise with the Provost’s office to ensure seamless integration with university policies and procedures (e.g., AQUAD). Manage nuanced and politically sensitive relationships with key executive decision-makers in the accreditation agencies’ international headquarters.
- Consult with the Isenberg and departmental curriculum committees, participating as a non-voting member and drafting/reviewing reports for committees meetings.
- Attend AACSB AoL and assessment seminars, workshops, and conferences. Represent Isenberg in conference panels and other high-visibility fora, and disseminate information and knowledge gathered at those events to ISOM faculty and staff.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- Bachelor’s Degree with four years of direct experience working with regional and national academic accreditation processes. A Master's Degree may be substituted for two years of the required experience.
- Experience working in large and culturally-diverse population.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume, complex, and time-sensitive process timeline.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively in nuanced, confidential, and executive-level communication with multiple internal and external organizational stakeholders.
- Must excel in oral and written communications, have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and exhibit high levels of database proficiency.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report on complex academic data associated with program accreditation.
- Skill in small group presentations, awareness of confidentiality issues, ability to take initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various internal and external personnel.
- Experience in metrics design and a knowledge of metrics tools especially Excel and Tableau.
- Understanding of FERPA, Title IX, and all University Academic Rules and Regulations.
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- PhD in psychology, education or other relevant field.
- Two years of direct experience working with AACSB processes.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Typical office environment activity.
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
- Required to work some nights and weekends, plus travel.
