| The Director of Scenic Art provides leadership and support in all aspects of scenic making including planning, technical design, creation and maintenance, as well as storage of scenic elements and stage properties for the Department of Theater’s main stage production season and related events. Specific responsibilities will focus on all prop-making and the finishes of all scenery and properties. The Director of Scenic Art will also serve as a trainer and mentor to undergraduate and graduate scenic students, designers, and technicians. |

| The Archives and Manuscript Librarian (Archivist) will work with colleagues in the Robert S. Cox Special Collections and University Archives Research Center (SCUA) to provide comprehensive support in the department’s ongoing efforts to curate and preserve its collections and to provide outstanding access to its holdings. The Archivist will assist patrons in learning and research; supervise use of the collections in SCUA’s reading room, train and supervise student assistants, work with classes to promote integration of primary sources into university curriculum, and implement professional standards in care, arrangement, and description of collections. |

Head, Data and Open Scholarship (Hybrid Opportunity)

| The Head of Data & Open Scholarship leads a dynamic and evolving team to develop and deliver forward-thinking and campus-aligned programming, resources, and services to support researchers across the research and data lifecycles; scaffold scalable education and outreach programming and support for students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty; and coordinate project support for innovative work in the realms of digital scholarship, research data, and scholarly publishing. The incumbent will achieve these goals through collaboration with the Associate Dean for Data, Digital Strategies and other units in the division. They will assist University of Massachusetts Amherst researchers in meeting the requirements of funding agencies and publishers and will prioritize the development of strong, collaborative relationships with library subject specialists across multiple disciplines and with relevant units across campus. The incumbent will manage a small team of specialists focused on data management, digital scholarship and digital humanities projects, copyright and information policy, open educational resources, open scholarship/scholarly publishing, research impact, and spatial data and GIS.
The position is responsible for leading, managing, innovating, goal setting, outreach, and assessing all functions of the department in partnership with other departments within the division of Data, Digital Strategies, and Scholarly Communication and across the Libraries. The Head of Data & Open Scholarship serves a critical role in ensuring the Libraries are poised to meet the research and student success goals outlined in the University's strategic plan. |

Clerk IV - Program Administrator

| The Clerk IV (SI Program Administrator) manages key operational aspects of the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program, including recruitment, hiring, training, and supervising the SI peer team. The Program Administrator also contributes to program and departmental data collection, LMS management, scheduling, room booking, payroll, budget reporting, and the development of strategies to improve access to academic resources. |
