Provides general administrative support to the Flexible Education Division and University Without Walls, including assistance with scheduling, event coordination, clerical tasks, and building coordination. Supports staff, students, and campus partners by maintaining organized records, facilitating communications, and contributing to efficient daily workflow across both units.
Energy and Engineering Manager UMass Amherst
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Building Maintenance, the Energy and Engineering Manager is responsible for campus-wide coordination of energy programs, analysis, and the operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across the UMass Amherst campus and outlying stations. The Energy and Engineering Manager plays a key role in advising the University on energy management strategies and CO₂ emission reductions in both operations and capital projects. The University seeks to achieve significant buildings maintenance improvement and cost savings while minimizing environmental impact by reducing its carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions.
Departmental Assistant UMass Amherst
The Utility Operations Intern (Departmental Assistant) will assist our team in the completion of preventive maintenance sheets, understanding the operation of the CHP, and supporting the crew with steam system startups and shutdowns. Responsibilities include working with the operations team in the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the CHP.
Utility Electrical Maintenance Manager UMass Amherst
The Utility Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing operation, maintenance and repair of the campus high voltage electrical distribution system, IT cable distribution system and related equipment. Coordinate campus electrical needs with Town of Amherst Electrical Inspector. Schedule work for the Physical Plant Utility Electrical and the IT Cable Engineering Services (CES) divisions.
