Job Description:

The College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for tenure-track faculty in Robotics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Exceptional candidates at other ranks may be considered. The position is affiliated with the campus' exciting cross-campus initiative in Robotics. The goal is to expand research, leadership, teaching, and outreach in all areas of robotics by increasing the number of core and related faculty. As a campus with a continually growing diverse student body, we encourage applications from women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, and individuals with a commitment to mentoring individuals from underrepresented groups in computer science.  

 

Requirements:

Before starting in this position, applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related area and should show evidence of exceptional research promise.
