The Physics Junior Systems Administrator (Clerical Assistant) configures, maintains, and supports the computer systems operated by the Physics Department. These computer systems, and the services they deliver, provide mission critical services to Physics faculty and staff. These services include file and print sharing, group collaboration, messaging and calendaring, managed server and workstation security, and heterogeneous endpoint management. Additionally, this person recommends new technologies and participates in implementation and special projects as required.

Furthermore, the research must center on the enslaved and/or adopt an anti-colonial, de-colonial, post-colonial, and/or anti-racist methodology/approach which challenges the nature of European and Euro-American imperialism and colonialism and interrogates the racist logic of the institution of Transatlantic Slavery.

Seasonal Admissions Reader/Reviewer - Temporary Professional UMass Amherst
Under the direction of the Senior Associate Director of First-Year Admissions, this position reads, reviews, and renders decisions about undergraduate admissions to the University. Readers evaluate information presented by prospective students in support of their applications for admission and determine suitability for acceptance. The position may also be asked to recruit prospective students in a specific territory by giving presentations, attending college fairs, visiting high schools, and communicating with students and families.
