Incumbent is responsible for the oversight of meeting campus priorities, grant requirements, and federal and state mandates. Develops and delivers innovative educational initiatives as a senior member of the Community Education program.
Serves as a subject matter expert regarding primary prevention of sexual assault and relationship violence, sexual harassment prevention, stalking prevention, child sexual abuse prevention, healthy relationships, consent, and trauma-informed practices.
- Participates in program leadership including strategic planning and program evaluation to ensure compliance with goals, needs and funding.
- Designs and disseminates responsive violence-prevention outreach campaigns, materials and programs, using multiple media platforms.
- Oversees compliance with grants/outside funders – including tracking grant requirements and managing reporting processes.
- Assists with grant development.
- Creates, manages and maintain systems to manage administrative tasks using technology including but not limited to data collection and analysis, report writing, scheduling, recruitment, inventory, etc.
- Responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of a diverse group of volunteers and interns.
- Travels within campus worksites and the greater community to provide support, administer programming and transport materials and supplies.
- Ensures compliance with mandates and safety protocols.
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with a diverse range of campus and community stakeholders to meet stated goals.
- Provides SASA related support services.
- Participates in organizational initiatives, programs and services.
- Performs related duties as assigned or required.
- Understands responsibilities with respect to Title IX, Clery and other compliance requirements.
- Demonstrates capacity, skill and willingness to engage students and contribute to student success.
- Understands responsibilities with respect to conflicts of interest and behaves in ways consistent both with law and with University policy.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- A Master’s degree in a related field, including but not limited to Education, Public Health, Higher Education, or Communications with 2 years of related work experience to include supervision and training of staff.
- Dynamic facilitator and educator across in-person and virtual platforms with proven expertise in prevention of sexual assault, relationship violence and bystander intervention for diverse populations to include adult/college-aged learners.
- Proven expertise designing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating evidence- based, online, in-person and blended prevention curriculum for diverse populations of adult/college-aged learners.
- Has proven expertise using Canva, Photoshop, or a comparable program; Microsoft Teams, Google Apps, or comparable software; an LMS such as Moodle or Blackboard; Microsoft Office 2016 or newer. Experience applying design best practices – including ADA compliance standards. Understands use of social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills to manage and improve work systems using technology. Can multitask and possesses strong time management skills.
- Contemporary knowledge of related current events, social movements, climate, and political trends. Demonstrated experience working with relevant laws and practices such as Campus Save, Title IX, and VAWA.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, equity, antiracist and trauma informed practice.
- Works effectively in in collaborative and individual environments. Exhibits positivity, flexibility and exceptional ability to seek and understand constructive feedback.
- Some weekend and evening hours required.
- Driver's license and access to a car for travel to other worksites is required.
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- Experience providing direct support services to survivors of sexual violence, relationship violence, and/or stalking.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in client-centered design process.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs, Adobe Captivate and with web design utilizing WordPress platforms.
- Experience supervising or working with campus and/or community volunteers and understanding of community service learning.
- Experience with grant development and management.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Driver's license required for travel to other worksites on and off campus.
- Lift/carry 30 pounds (or more): computers, projectors, moving tables, chairs for room set up.
- Stand for extended periods of time for presentations, workshops, trainings.
- Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.
- Requires evening hours and some weekend and holiday hours.
