Job Description
The research fellow will engage in research activities related to NIEHS-funded projects focused on reducing dietary exposure to environmental pollutants (PFAS and micro- and nanoplastics) and mitigating their toxicity using sorbent materials. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing experiments in cell cultures, molecular biology, and animal models.
- Maintaining routine cultures of living organisms in the lab according to established protocols
- Operating analytical equipment, such as HPLC, LC-MS/MS, etc
- Presenting research progress through oral presentations and publications.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in toxicology, biomedical sciences, environmental health, public health, or a related field
- Detail-oriented
- Highly motivated
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in cell culture, animal work, or analytical chemistry.
