Job Summary
Review product specifications and data for accuracy by accessing and reviewing Simphony and FoodPro softwares to check content and remove discrepancies. This is a temporary, unbenefited position.
Essential Functions
- Maintains data integrity of UMass Dining’s menu offerings by reviewing the FoodPro and Simphony databases.
- Identifies issues and discrepancies between different dining establishments across campus, provide resolution and offer suggestions when working on product labels and product reformulation.
- Communicates with internal and external teams to establish priorities and balance speed with the need for documentation and accuracy.
- Compiles reports of findings to present to UMass Dining team.
- Conducts data management and nutrient analysis.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- Nutrition Science background and strong attention to detail.
- General working knowledge of food service operations.
- Basic knowledge of database systems and dining operations.
- Ability to work with diverse groups.
- Working knowledge of office machines, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in report writing.

- Typical office environment.
Work Schedule
- 30 hours per week. Hours will be between 9AM and 5PM.
- This is a temporary (6 months), unbenefited position.
