Departmental Assistant - Digital Ready Residential Educator UMass Amherst
Digital Ready Residential Educators live within the learning community providing education and support to the students, who, in addition to their academic program, are also learning how to live, socialize and access resources on a college campus. In addition, educators provide residential on-duty rounds, crisis response and policy enforcement. The ideal candidate for the role will be a recent college graduate with experience as a residential advisor and a passion for learning and working with youth. Through the Massachusetts Early Education and Care (EEC) StrongStart Training and Technical Assistance initiative, UMDI has led the Central Massachusetts Professional Development Center (PDC) since its creation in 2019. As a member of the Central MA PDC team, the Coach/Trainer provides training and technical assistance to the professionals of the early childhood care mixed delivery system of care, within the Central Region of Massachusetts.

Senior Research Analyst - Hadley, MA UMass Amherst
EPPR Senior Research Analysts support the work of their business unit through project management assistance, conducting literature reviews, and implementing data collection and analysis plans. Senior Research Analysts work extensively with a wide range of Federal, State, and Local data providers, including the U.S. Census, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as private data providers to extensively analyze social, economic, and demographic conditions. The position may entail significant writing duties and some independent project and task management.  Specifics of the role may vary depending on the needs of the project(s) to which they are assigned.  Senior Research Analysts will have proven experience implementing research projects in a professional setting, as well as maintaining positive client relationships. They should be skilled in developing appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, as well as providing technical supervision to research analysts and student research assistants assigned to their projects.  Typically, Senior Research Analysts work collaboratively under the direction of a Research Manager, Senior Research Manager, and/or the business unit’s Director.
