The project is focused on understanding how deer mouse physiology and population dynamics are influenced by parasites and environmental variation. The field technician will assist with all aspects of fieldwork, with opportunities for learning research skills throughout the season and potentially carrying out their own individual research projects in the future. The position will run from 1 May – 15 October 2024. Airfare, shared field housing, food, all necessary equipment, and a stipend of $15/hour will be provided.

Calls also involve fire alarms, sprinkler activation, and custodial calls that present a health or safety risk. Performs corrective actions to trouble calls and alarms or determines that a specialized tradesperson or service contractor is required to make necessary repairs. Performs scheduled maintenance tasks as required or as assigned. Coordinates the actions of personnel called to resolve emergency situations.
