The Assistant Dean of Student Success provides the leadership and oversight of the SPHHS Center for Student Success (CSS). The CSS creates and complements other campus-wide programs that increase student retention; support timely progress toward degree completion; and enhance wellness, student engagement, and career exploration. CSS centers primarily on the School's mission of educating the next generation of public health and health sciences leaders. Marketing and Communications Coordinator UMass Amherst
Under general direction from the Director of Student Affairs Communication, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for Residential Life Student Services and Residence Education marketing, communications, social media, and strategic initiatives for over 13,300 on-campus students in 52 residence halls and related audiences of prospective students, families and staff. Work will be performed in accordance with established University and Student Affairs and Campus Life (SACL) guidelines. Serving a key role in SACL communications efforts, this position will also collaborate with SACL Communications and SACL Technology Services on broader communications initiatives. Computer Cluster Administrator - Computer Systems Administrator UMass Amherst
The Computer Systems Administrator (CSA), will implement and support policy decisions, and represent the Department of Astronomy and CNS in appropriate meetings/projects. The CSA is responsible for support of research, teaching and administrative work in the Department, including the in-situ operations of the Large Millimeter Telescope and of the High Performing Computer. This consists of support for the network-attached workstations, stand-alone computers, peripherals, hardware, software and all network connections, as well for the software and hardware needs of the servers associated with several of the research projects. The CSA is also responsible for coordinating and tracking the Astronomy portion of the work of the shared Physics-Astronomy CSA. In addition, the CSA supports research operations, programming servers, programming interactive software, project development, and resolution of client issues for Windows, Macintosh and Linux systems.
