Associate Director for Labor Relations (Hybrid) UMass Amherst
The Associate Director for Labor Relations oversees the implementation and administration of the University's staff collective bargaining agreements and participates in the development of labor strategy and policies. This role promotes collaborative labor relations by providing leadership, advice, and support to university leaders in all aspects of labor relations, including contract administration, grievance handling, arbitrations, and collective bargaining. The position maintains effective relationships with union leadership and legal counsel, participates in labor contract negotiations, leads the grievance process, and ensures management is trained on all labor relations policies and procedures.
EDP Programmer II UMass Amherst
The EDP Programmer II supports the research and teaching missions of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics - a large research and teaching department with several hundred computer users that teaches 15,000 students each year - by maintaining the integrity of operating systems, software and hardware for workstations, desktop computers and servers in a highly dynamic multi-platform computing environment.
