Computer Cluster Administrator - Computer Systems Administrator UMass Amherst
The Computer Systems Administrator (CSA), will implement and support policy decisions, and represent the Department of Astronomy and CNS in appropriate meetings/projects. The CSA is responsible for support of research, teaching and administrative work in the Department, including the in-situ operations of the Large Millimeter Telescope and of the High Performing Computer. This consists of support for the network-attached workstations, stand-alone computers, peripherals, hardware, software and all network connections, as well for the software and hardware needs of the servers associated with several of the research projects. The CSA is also responsible for coordinating and tracking the Astronomy portion of the work of the shared Physics-Astronomy CSA. In addition, the CSA supports research operations, programming servers, programming interactive software, project development, and resolution of client issues for Windows, Macintosh and Linux systems.

Lecturer A - Director of Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Success and Diversity UMass Amherst
The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) Director of Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Success and Diversity, a non-tenure-track faculty position (100% FTE) 12-month appointment, reports directly to the Associate Dean for Graduate, Postdoc and Faculty Development and will provide leadership and supporting activities to advance the recruitment and retention of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the College of Natural Sciences (CNS), with a special focus on racial, ethnic, gender and socioeconomic groups underrepresented in STEM. The Director will be responsible for designing and implementing graduate student and postdoctoral fellow programming and assessing its effectiveness. The Director will work with college leadership on issues related to recruitment and retention and grant writing and partner with other campus entities to establish metrics and assessments that inform CNS's graduate student and postdoctoral diversity initiatives. The Director of Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Success and Diversity position will be housed in the College of Natural Sciences Academic Advising Center or other department depending on the successful candidate’s credentials.

The Educational Assessment Analyst manages the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of organizational assessment to support the College’s mission of supporting “Education for a Socially Just World.” Working under the supervision of the Director of Educational Technology and in collaboration with the leadership team of Academic Affairs, the Analyst supports state, national, and professional accreditation program approval processes for licensure programs as well as College-level strategic planning efforts.
