Manages and leads the overall operation of the Grounds maintenance division. Supervises and coordinates all activities involved in the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of campus landscape, hardscape, and waste handling systems. Installs, maintains, operates, repairs and/or initiates repairs on building systems such as, but not limited to, card access systems, security systems, fire alarms, communication equipment, and their related devices and performs other related work as required. Employs the use of specialized testing and monitoring, diagnostic equipment; works synchronously with contractors, engineers, control technicians, etc. to maintain the building systems integrity. Exercises functional supervision of other employees of lower grade performing related repair and maintenance activities. |

Provides administrative and clerical support to the Department of Health Promotion and Policy. Participates in supervision of student workers. Prepares, tracks and files general financial forms including but not limited to purchasing, travel, and reconciling accounts. Assists in the preparation of Human Resource (HR) and financial reports, proposals, and miscellaneous office materials using various software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, and Summit. Provides administrative support to the Graduate Program Director. These administrative duties require extensive knowledge of School and University administrative and academic policies, procedures, and systems as well as a high level of discretion when handling confidential material and information. |
