Assistant Manager (Worcester Dining Commons) UMass Amherst
Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Dining Commons, the Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of concessions and secondarily the dining commons, in the areas of quality control, program enhancement, food purchasing, food production, quality assurance, line presentation, staff scheduling and customer service.  This position is also responsible for the planning and the implementation of special projects designated by the Executive Director, Food Services as deemed necessary.  The projects will include operations management, marketing programs, customer services, training, catering, quality assurance and the supervision of an additional operation and special events, as needed.  In the absence of the Dining Common Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for special event, night and weekend duties.
Academic Advisor/Senior Academic Advisor UMass Amherst
The Senior/Academic Advisor works collaboratively with program administrators and staff to support a comprehensive academic advising program serving the 750+ undergraduate students enrolled in the Public Health Sciences (PHS) major. The Senior/Academic Advisor is responsible for administering advising programs, implementing advising policies, assisting faculty with advising, supervising Peer Advisors, problem solving to respond to student needs, and working with SPHHS advising staff. The Senior/Academic Advisor provides advising services to undergraduate students regarding academic regulations and policies, fulfillment of major and University requirements, resolution of academic challenges, and preparation for diverse career paths within the field of public health.
Academic Programs Manager Mt. Ida - Newton, UMass Amherst
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Provost for Academic Programs on the Mount Ida Campus (MIC), the MIC Academic Program Manager supports the undergraduate and graduate programs at the Mount Ida Campus, assists in program administration, and provides the day-to-day oversight of the campus academic programs and activities.
Student Success Advisor Mt. Ida - Newton, UMass Amherst
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Provost for Academic Programs on the Mount Ida Campus, the MIC Student Success Advisor provides advising services for students interested in spending a semester at MIC and for students currently at the Mount Ida Campus. The position is responsive to the widely varied needs of diverse student populations and works in collaboration with the Amherst Campus network of advising and success personnel, including in wellbeing and academic departments to ensure high-quality advising and academic services for all MIC students.
