Instructional Technology Support Specialist (Hybrid Opportunity) UMass Amherst
The Instructional Technology Support Specialist is responsible for providing high quality, customer-centered support for instructional technologies, including the campus Learning Management System (LMS) and third-party tools. This role involves troubleshooting teaching and learning technology issues, assisting with the implementation of new technologies, and collaborating across teams to ensure the smooth operation of classroom and online learning environments.

Technical Specialist I (HVAC) UMass Amherst
The Technician Specialist I installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical systems and system components, including but not limited to cooling towers, strainers, pumps, air handlers, exhaust systems, fume hoods, etc. Responsibilities include maintaining mechanical system, applying appropriate skills and methods as necessary in the areas of HVAC maintenance and repair, pump maintenance and repair, and air compressors and their related equipment. May assist other employees in the performance of their work.
Departmental Assistant - Bacteriologist I UMass Amherst
Performs all of the laboratory tests in one or more departments of the clinical laboratory, demonstrating ability to perform with a minimum of supervision. Maintains records of procedures, quality control and performance of equipment.  Communicates results and related information to physicians and other health professionals. Has appropriate technical background to review results critically. Works under the general supervision of the Lab Manager who assigns duties, issues directives and checks on performance. Works under the direct supervision of the section supervisor who assigns duties and checks on performance.
