The position of Business and Marketing Development Officer for the Wind Energy Center (WEC) in the College of Engineering will be responsible for advancing the center’s marketing presence by acting as a liaison with the wind energy industry, state agencies, and beyond. This person will work with the Office of Development and alumni to create opportunities for sponsorship, engagement and giving activities. They will help with the coordination of activities, meetings, workshops, and special events to increase the visibility of the Wind Center to their partners, potential donors, and the general public. Assistant Director of Communications & Content Strategy - College of Engineering UMass Amherst
The Assistant Director of Communications and Content Strategy in the College of Engineering (CoE) is responsible for producing compelling and engaging print, website, and social media content to raise the visibility of the CoE with internal and external audiences, including prospective and current students, faculty, alumni, donors, and peers in higher education. Apprentice I is the entry-level trade job in the series. With supervisory guidance, the Asbestos Worker Apprentice (hereafter referred to as the Apprentice) provides support, abatement, removal, repair and cleaning of hazardous building materials including: asbestos, lead, PCBs, heavy metals, molds and other hazardous building materials. This includes but is not limited to: duct work, floors, ceilings, crawl spaces, excavations, demolitions, windows and other areas of interior and exterior of buildings. The Apprentice also attends classroom training during work hours to complete requirements for a series of different licensures over the course of three years.
