The Learning Resource Center (LRC) serves as the central academic and undergraduate support unit for UMass Amherst. The LRC is looking to hire an Office Manager to support the operational and programmatic efforts of the office and serve as primary administrative support to the Executive Director and other LRC leadership. The primary duties of this position include serving as reception and primary point of contact for LRC administration and overseeing a team of undergraduate office assistants. Administrative duties include managing room reservations, undergraduate student hiring and timekeeping, purchasing and travel coordination, and additional clerical duties. |

The Clerk IV is responsible for Facilities & Campus Services (F&CS) Accounts Payable processing, including invoice preparation and research, contacting vendors relating to problem solving and payment updates, purchase order encumbrance and liquidation. Enters purchase requisitions and payment information into the F&CS data information systems, provides encumbrance updates for PeopleSoft and obtains information for reports through use of PeopleSoft and F&CS systems. |
Clerk IV (Facilities Coordinator)

Under the direction of the Sr. Associate Dean for Operations, the facility coordinator serves as the single point-of-contact for Isenberg's three buildings: ISOM, Alfond, and the Business and Innovation Hub. Responsibilities include: facilities-related customer service to nearly 250 faculty and staff; general building maintenance oversight; and, emergency response situations. Coordinates with the office of Special Programs and Engagement and the Undergraduate Programs Office to provide support for events and special facility operations. Works with Isenberg Technology Support Services (TSS) Department to coordinate technology installations and upgrades. Works with furniture and equipment vendors to assist in procurement, delivery, and set-up. Oversees periodic faculty office relocations. Schedules maintenance requests, works with the Physical Plant, Facilities and department personnel to schedule meetings and projects involving physical space. Serves as a liaison with campus departments (e.g. Physical Plant) regarding building preventative and restorative maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned. |

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the area of High Frequency Electronics. Tenure-track faculty members are expected to develop an internationally recognized scholarly presence, an externally funded research program, collaborations in interdisciplinary research teams, to effectively mentor graduate students, teach existing courses in our curriculum and to develop creative new curricula in areas of their interest or across disciplines. Candidates should envision a research and teaching program consistent with the College of Engineering’s Strategic Plan. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2025. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
