The Senior Coordinator carries out broadening participation activities, including mentorship and skill development for post doc and graduate student cohorts, community-building and cultural competency training for the NSF CBIKS team, youth and community engagement design, and protocols and action plan development. This position also coordinates outreach strategy and network-building activities for key audiences relevant to the NSF CBIKS mission.
This is a term-limited position. Continuation of the position for an additional five years is contingent upon grant funding. |

Acts as the first responder for all off-shift maintenance calls for all off-shift Metasys Building Operation Systems alarms, temperature (too hot/too cold) calls, and calls involving emergency and routine repairs (as allowed by existing codes) involving non-licensed plumbing, electrical, elevator entrapments and failures, heat and cooling systems, security hardware, locks and life safety equipment failures. Calls also involve fire alarms, sprinkler activation, and custodial calls that present a health or safety risk. Performs corrective actions to trouble calls and alarms or determines that a specialized tradesperson or service contractor is required to make necessary repairs. Performs scheduled maintenance tasks as required or as assigned. Coordinates the actions of personnel called to resolve emergency situations. |

Residential Educators live within the learning community providing education and support to students, who, in addition to their academic program, are also learning how to live, socialize and access resources on a college campus. In addition, educators provide residential on-duty support, crisis response and policy enforcement. During the summer session, Residential Educators will also work with other programs such as pre-college offerings etc. and will work directly with student staff.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a recent college graduate with experience as a residential advisor and a passion for learning and working with youth.
