| The School of Public Health and Health Sciences (SPHHS) and Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS) seek a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Research Coordinator (Departmental Assistant) to support a trial funded by the National Institute on Aging into physical activity, sitting and brain health in middle-aged and older adults. This position will be based at the Department of Kinesiology and supervised by Dr. Dominika Pindus whose research focuses on the impact of physical activity and sedentary behaviors on brain health across the adult lifespan. As part of the interdisciplinary project team, the research coordinator will also collaborate with scholars at UMass Amherst at the Center for Human Health & Performance, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, UMass EXTENSION. The successful candidate will also support related research activities being employed by our research team. |

MassURC Conference Coordinator & Events Assistant

| The MassURC Coordinator and Events Assistant (Program Coordinator I) serves as the lead coordinator for the Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference (MassURC). The position is also responsible for supporting the planning and logistics for events and special projects year-round that enhance Commonwealth Honors College’s stature and raise its visibility. Events include, but are not limited to, conferences, student graduation, recognition, and award ceremonies, student success events, alumni events that include students, faculty meetings, faculty recruiting seminars, lecture series, signature college event, and staff retreats, meetings, and events.
This position reports to the Director of Community Relations and Strategic Impact. |

Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance

| Under the direct supervision of the Associate Athletic Director for Governance & Compliance, the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance is responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities of creating, maintaining, and monitoring a compliant environment that results in clear institutional control of all athletic programs relative to Conference and NCAA legislation as required by NCAA Division I membership. Further responsible for assisting coaches and student-athletes for 21 programs and approximately 600 student-athletes in interfacing with University, Conference, and NCAA offices. The Assistant Athletic Director is responsible for interpreting and providing interpretations to coaches and staff regarding NCAA legislation. This position will have a primary focus on transfer eligibility in addition to other compliance responsibilities. |

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Dean of Academic Advising and Student Success, the Academic Advisor (entry level)/Senior Academic Advisor(comprehensive) position provides advising to students in the College of Engineering’s (COE) various majors, double majors, dual degrees, minors, exploratory tracks and graduate programs. The position works closely with other advising personnel to ensure high quality advising and academic services for all students, with particular emphasis on programmatic needs for first-year, transfer, and at-risk students and uses computer-based registration and academic records technology, such as Spire and Navigate. The position is responsive to the widely varied needs of diverse student populations and works in a high volume and fast-paced work environment. |
