Clerk IV (Facilities Coordinator)

Under the direction of the Sr. Associate Dean for Operations, the facility coordinator serves as the single point-of-contact for Isenberg's three buildings: ISOM, Alfond, and the Business and Innovation Hub. Responsibilities include: facilities-related customer service to nearly 250 faculty and staff; general building maintenance oversight; and, emergency response situations. Coordinates with the office of Special Programs and Engagement and the Undergraduate Programs Office to provide support for events and special facility operations. Works with Isenberg Technology Support Services (TSS) Department to coordinate technology installations and upgrades. Works with furniture and equipment vendors to assist in procurement, delivery, and set-up. Oversees periodic faculty office relocations. Schedules maintenance requests, works with the Physical Plant, Facilities and department personnel to schedule meetings and projects involving physical space. Serves as a liaison with campus departments (e.g. Physical Plant) regarding building preventative and restorative maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Installs, maintains, operates, repairs and/or initiates repairs on building systems such as pneumatic/electric, electronic, electro-mechanical controls, refrigeration, air conditioning, equipment and related heating and ventilation (HVAC) systems, and their related controllers and controlled devices. Employing the use and need of specialized testing and monitoring, diagnostic equipment; works synchronously with Control Technicians / trade personnel maintaining the building systems integrity, exercises functional supervision of other employees performing related repair and maintenance activities |

The Associate Director of Business Development and Marketing (ADBD) will be responsible for helping to grow the research enterprise of the Center for Energy Innovation (CEI), fostering relationships with energy industry companies as well as state and federal agencies involved in energy funding, policy, and research. The ADBD will be responsible for developing marketing materials and prepare proposals for grants to acquire external funding to support the CEI as well as help to increase the enrollment of students in the Energy Engineering Program. |

The Research Associate in Energy Engineering Modeling (MS or PhD) will research, design, and develop a modular techno-economic energy system software modeling capability. This candidate will employ the modeling tool to conduct several case-studies of coupled renewable (wind and solar) energy production and hydrogen energy storage systems. Dissemination of this research will include the development of an interactive graphical dashboard/web-app/app. The successful candidate will also assist in writing scholarly articles and research proposals, help to manage and educate graduate or undergraduate students, and assist in the successful operation of the laboratories and facilities. |
