Project Manager, Marketing & Communications UMass Amherst
The Project Manager (PM) for Advancement Marketing and Communications manages all requests for print, digital, social media, and video projects on behalf of Advancement departments, schools, units, and colleges and other areas of the university. Clerk IV - Medical Receivables Specialist UMass Amherst
Interprets and analyzes medical Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from third party payers and aged trial balance reports. Reconciles accounts by line adjustments and expenditure of funds. Assumes provider advocacy role interacting with insurance company personnel to resolve account discrepancies. Maintains records of financial transactions including revenue collected, co-payments and payment history by patient and respective insurance companies. Facilitates and prepares documents in accordance with Mass. Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) protocol and Mass. General Law. Prepares patient financial statements and other appropriate documents for insurance processing. Provides patient support & assistance, either in person or via telephone, with professionalism and patience during difficult and confrontational issues. Works under the supervision of the Patient Accounts & Services Manager who issues directives and evaluates performance.
Residence Director UMass Amherst
Residential Life at the University of Massachusetts Amherst educates and serves approximately 13,500 diverse domestic and international undergraduate and graduate students in residence hall and apartment communities. We utilize a defined set of learning goals and outcomes as outlined by the UMass Amherst Residential Curriculum. The Residence Director has overall responsibility for leading the development of safe, inclusive, and learner-centered residential communities of approximately 350 to 600 undergraduate students. This position requires frequent and meaningful interaction with residential students. This position has responsibility for community development, student learning, staff supervision, student conduct and incident response, administrative and project management tasks, and other general responsibilities both for the students within assigned communities and in greater service to Residential Life and Student Affairs and Campus Life and their shared commitment to student success. The Residence Director is a live-in position and reports directly to an Assistant Director of Residence Education.

As the Center for Counseling & Psychological Health (CCPH) Lead Administrative Clerk, performs the following duties in varying percentages based on need: greets clients, enters client demographic and insurance information in Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, answers and appropriately sorts and allocates all incoming calls, enters and updates information in Center for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) clinician accounts, trains and supervises front desk staff.
