The UMass Extension Vegetable Program will assist in running applied research studies on alternative management of insect and disease pests of vegetable crops. Results of these studies help vegetable farmers across the Northeast by providing new pest management strategies and helping them decide how to make pest management decisions.
Director, Office of Religious and Spiritual Life UMass Amherst

Collections Analysis Librarian UMass Amherst
The Collection Analysis Librarian is user focused, data-driven, and engages in processes that support decision making concerning the strategic acquisition, renewal, and retention of Library collections. The librarian also engages in systems integrations, records management and project management activities. Shop & Facilities Manager - Dept. Environmental Conservation UMass Amherst
Under the general supervision of the department chair, the Shop and Facilities Manager for Environmental Conservation will support the department’s shop and lab facilities, including the Gloucester Marine Lab; be responsible for all lab renovation and building maintenance projects; coordinate all lab safety; coordinate maintenance of vehicle fleet; coordinate maintenance needs on forest properties; and coordinate logistical services including supervising technical and shop personnel and providing technical assistance with the Shop and Facilities Manager at the Olver Design Building (requiring cross-training in woodworking, CNC milling, 3D printing, laser cutting, vacuum forming and materials fabrication and testing). Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the candidate will perform activities on multiple research projects. The candidate will be expected to work with a high level of independence, prioritize all aspects of research activities with minimal supervision, and self-initiate suggestions and approaches to research efforts. Under the supervision of the Manager of Classroom Technology Services (CTS), AV Tech II is responsible for support of operation and maintenance of the distance learning and video conferencing systems installed in classrooms and auditoria across the UMass campus that support multimodal courses that can be offered face-to-face, online, or mixed, and can have synchronous or asynchronous components. Individual in this position will provide set up and technical support of the standard audio-visual equipment in teaching spaces across the campus as well as for university sponsored events. Additionally, the AV Tech II will provide training to faculty and staff on the usage of the audio-visual and video conferencing equipment.
