A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Margaret Stratton at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. We seek a motivated and creative scientist to lead projects at the interface of structural biology, biochemistry, and cell signaling, with a particular focus on protein kinases and phosphorylation-dependent regulatory mechanisms. Our work aims to uncover the molecular basis of signaling processes that control neuronal function, fertility, and human disease.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and well-supported research environment with access to state-of-the-art resources in structural biology, including single-particle cryo-electron microscopy, protein biochemistry, and quantitative approaches to studying protein structure and function. This position offers the opportunity to drive independent, mechanistic projects, develop new experimental approaches, and contribute to high-impact publications.
