Director of Social Media in UMass Lowell
Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Marketing, the Director of Social Media serves as the voice of the university on social media platforms. This role focuses on developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, creating engaging content, advancing UMass Lowell’s brand on social, and fostering interaction and community engagement with the intention to create social communities that will attract and welcome prospective students, as well as engage employees, alumni, opinion leaders and the public. The Director will ensure the university's presence is strong across all social media channels and will coordinate with various campus departments to maintain consistency in messaging and branding. Remote/hybrid options available.

The College seeks a Director to oversee the TIHC and this growing portfolio in its emerging Center for Educational Partnerships. In collaboration with the FAHSS Dean’s Office, TIHC staff, and other school and community-based partners, the Director coordinates Center initiatives that serve PK-14 students & educators and provide a pipeline to UML degree programs. The position offers the unique opportunity to work across a range of educational contexts including the Tsongas Industrial History Center, whereby the Director works in and with Lowell National Historical to offer place-based, hands-on informal, humanities and STEM education programs.
