Data & Reporting Specialist/School or Record Specialist UMass Amherst
Under the supervision of the Associate Registrar of Systems & Operations, the School of Record Data & Reporting Specialist will provide reporting assistance and student record support within the office of the University Registrar. This position will also oversee school of record arrangements with Academic Programs International (API), a study abroad organization that is entering into a new partnership with UMass Amherst. As part of this role, the position will collaborate with PeopleSoft developers and Database Administrators to automate the new process and continue to oversee for quality assurance. This position will also use PeopleSoft query tools to write reports and extract data for analysis and distribution.

Lead Peoplesoft Database Engineer (remote/hybrid) UMass Amherst
Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Infrastructure Systems, the Lead Peoplesoft Database Engineer has primary responsibility for the reliable and secure operation of the PeopleSoft software, Oracle database, and related software components underlying the PeopleSoft Student Administration software and other administrative information systems. Designs and architects PeopleSoft application software, Oracle databases, and related third party software. Review and implement major and critical upgrades and major releases to maintain software for 24x7 availability. Establish policies and procedures to ensure consistent data architecture to promote high quality, maintainable application components.  Develop backup and recovery plans; design standards; and determine and make recommendations to management for major process changes. This position has the opportunity for a hybrid or remote work schedule.
Marketing & Communications Coordinator UMass Amherst
Under general direction from the Director of Student Affairs Communication, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for Residential Life Student Services and Residence Education marketing, communications, social media, and strategic initiatives for over 13,300 on-campus students in 52 residence halls and related audiences of prospective students, families and staff. This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, which is defined by the University as an arrangement where an employee’s work is regularly performed at a location other than the campus workspace for a portion of the week. As this position falls within the Professional Staff Union, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the Professional Staff Union collective bargaining agreement.

Part-time Phlebotomist – the Boston Puerto Rican Health Study UMass Lowell
The Boston Puerto Rican Health Study is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to work 1-2 mornings per week. The Boston Puerto Rican Health study is a longitudinal follow-up study of older Puerto Rican adults living in the Boston area, being conducted by the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The phlebotomist will draw fasting blood samples from approximately 100 participants in their homes in the Boston area. S/he will also perform proper processing and transport of specimens back to the lab at UMass Lowell for analysis, organize and track samples, and keep accurate records of all phlebotomy-related activities and needs. The position will require the ability to travel to Boston early mornings and deliver samples promptly to Lowell. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Prototype Machinist UMass Lowell
The Submillimeter-Wave Technology Laboratory (STL) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is looking to fill a full-time benefitted prototype machinist position within its Mechanical Engineering group. STL operates a nationally recognized radar-modeling program supporting government-sponsored radar signature collection and materials characterization efforts. STL is seeking a machinist to work on a long-term research project involving high-frequency radar and report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Responsibilities will include manual machining, CNC machining, and some mechanical assembly. Candidates must have a strong mechanical background, minimum three years of machining experience, and familiarity with all types of machine tools. STL is looking for a well-rounded machinist who takes pride in their work and can help solve technical machining problems. The candidate should be motivated and capable of demonstrating their potential as a productive technical staff member. The candidate must be willing to work in small groups to meet team goals as well as operate independently to achieve individual goals. Salary is competitive.
