General Summary of Position:

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Coordinator I is responsible for carrying out multiple complex research protocols. 

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a social, behavioral or health science field plus some working experience in a related field. However, we will consider candidates with a HS diploma or GED/equivalent and 4+ years of health-related experience
  • Bilingual or multilingual, ability to communicate proficiently in both English and any of Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese
  • Proficient in use of productivity software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, both the oral and written necessary to interact with study participants, community organizations, and project team members
  • Excellent organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations (having a vehicle and licensed to drive in MA)

Additional Considerations:

  • Knowledge of geography and communities in Central and Northeastern Massachusetts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in working in communities
  • Knowledge of federal requirements for the conduct of human studies
  • 1 year of related experience
