The Art and Design Department in the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences seeks one or more applicants for an adjunct faculty pool to teach Graphic Design (level II), Typography (level II), and Design in Motion commencing January 2025. The part time/adjunct instructor(s) will demonstrate passionate engagement in their own graphic design practice and/or research. They will provide education through learning-centered instruction that will enable graduates to understand and place their work in the historical and theoretical context of design. The position requires the ability to facilitate meaningful learning of the competencies in Graphic Design and Typography. The Art and Design Department emphasizes conceptual and aesthetic innovation while encouraging student-centered pedagogy.
