The Lecturer will be expected to perform the duties of a lead instructor of general chemistry (lecture and/or lab). This position will have a teaching load of 2 undergraduate lecture and/or laboratory courses per semester. The candidate would be expected to teach general chemistry lecture, and work in conjunction with the general chemistry lab director. The initial appointment is for one year with a two-year renewal upon successful performance review after twelve months. The candidate should have a strong commitment to outstanding teaching. Involvement in the ongoing research activities in the department is not necessary but is strongly encouraged.
