Job Summary

Departmental Assistant will report to department chair and admin to complete tasks related to the migration of courses to Moodle/Canvas. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Clerical tasks using Moodle/Canvas.
  • Assist with the organization of classes during migration.
  • Works on data and information related to the change, including updating as needed.
  • Attend meetings as needed.

 

Other Functions

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of basic MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic applications. 
  • Knowledge of Moodle and Canvas.

 

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment.

 

Work Schedule

  • Variable schedule; 20 hours per week.
  • This is a temporary non-benefited position.

 

Salary Information

  • $18 per hour.
