General Summary of Position:
The project revolves around tissue modeling on host-pathogens interactions, multi-omics data analysis, and mentoring at different levels. Previous experience in advanced tissue modeling and molecular and functional characterization is prerequisite, while experience working with bacterial cultures is a plus but not strictly necessary. Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (BME, ChemE, Biology, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Highly experiences in complex experimental design and execution
- Mammalian cell culture
- Advanced tissue engineering techniques
- Biomaterials fabrication
- Basic and Advanced Molecular biology laboratory techniques (mammalian and bacterial)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
Additional Considerations:
- Experience with multi-omics data analysis
- Experience with CLSM and SEM imaging skills
- Experience with tissue modeling
- Experience with host-pathogens interactions
- Desire to learn about grant writing
