Job Summary
Under the general direction and guidance of Dr. Leyao Wang, the Principal Investigator, this Research Assistant will help with data collection, data analysis and interpretation as well as help prepare the data for publication.
Essential Functions
- Metadata collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Sequencing data analysis.
- Machine learning modeling.
- Data result presentations.
Other Functions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- Proficiency with R, Python, or other languages.
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
- Prior experience in machine learning research and artificial intelligence.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Typical Office Environment, Repetitive Movement.
Work Schedule
- Part-time, Variable Schedule. 20 hours/week.
- This is a temporary, non-benefited position.
