Job Description

The research fellow will engage in research activities related to NIEHS-funded projects focused on reducing dietary exposure to environmental pollutants (PFAS and micro- and nanoplastics) and mitigating their toxicity using sorbent materials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing experiments in cell cultures, molecular biology, and animal models.
  • Maintaining routine cultures of living organisms in the lab according to established protocols
  • Operating analytical equipment, such as HPLC, LC-MS/MS, etc
  • Presenting research progress through oral presentations and publications.

 

Required Education

B.S. in a relevant field such as toxicology, biomedical sciences, environmental health, public health, etc. M.S. degree preferred.

 

Required Experience

Previous experience in cell culture, animal work, or analytical chemistry.

We provide comprehensive training and skill development for this role. However, successful candidates should be responsible, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.

 

Salary Information

Starts at $55,000 with possible increase after the first year.
